We do not require an adult signature for deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. If you want an item left at your doorstep, the best thing to do is leave a note on your door asking the driver to leave your package with "No Signature Required." Stands have a great finish. I'm using them for my bookshelf speakers, which are rather larger, they're about one foot deep. These stands hold them with ease. The base on these is the perfect size. I wouldn't recommend anything smaller than 6" x 6" and these are 8.5" x 8.5"! I love em!
