Solid, straightforward speaker stands. The additional elevation of the 30' stand has improved the sound for my rather large and heavy 17-year Klipsch bookshelf speakers. Footings for the wood foor that fit on carpet spikes are a little awkward but work. Easy to assemble.

A word of caution about the set-up. The hole in the speaker stand is far too small to fill with sand. I tried various things with funnels, etc. but the size of the holes is simply ridiculous. No way to fill them with sand. The only way to fill the stands without having to spend hours on it was with lead shot and the right funnel. Major design flaw in my opinion.

Using the stands for the front main speakers. I liked these because I can fill them with sand/lead shot which will make them even more stable than they already are. I have 2 kids and I wanted the extra stability! Only thing I don't like really is the cable management which is definitely an afterthought in the design of the stands (2 plastic clips per stand) and only the little plastic cups which fit under the brass spikes (I have hardwood floors).

Solid, well made. Decent hardware. Come with protectors to be able to use the spikes on a hardwood floor or other solid surface. One does need to fill the stand tubes with sand, not for weight, but to deaden resonance. The hollow steel tube can ring like a bell if not dampened! Overall, great purchase at a very good price.

Best stands I have eve owned (also the only ones)
I was very happy with my products solid construction and easy to assemble. These stands will last a life time and they go well with all decor.
I also bought a pair at 36 inches in height (placed next to my Rack system Left and Right ) to use as front stands for my 5.1 system
