This stand works great for a larger speaker like my Polk RTI A3's, due to the larger platform. It looks terrific and is very sturdy.I havn't seen any stands that have a 8/14 inch platform other than for "center" speakers. Wire shows a little due only to the 14 inch speakers that I have. Buy these and you won't be disappointed!

I just purchased a set of Klipsch VB-15 back speakers and these speaker stands worked out great. Sturdy, nice looking,inexpensive, and the top platform was just the perfect size. Would definitely recommend these stands to anyone.

These are good stands. I am using them to hold a pair of Klipsch B-2 bookshelf speakers which I use as surround speakers. I bought these stands because they were inexpensive but still attractive. They do the job well.
