Great stands for surround sound speakers. Solid, attractive and easy to put together - fitted up my Sony cube speakers with L bracket and two easy bolts. Threading speaker wire thru stand tubes is only slightly complicated by the S bend on top tube and smallish clearance hole. Some small,thin needle nose pliers will ease the pain.

only problem was I had to cut the wires to my speakers to pull inside the stands, then had to reconnect them. With satellite surround this wouldnt be a problem. Very sturdy and can't beat the price anywhere.

[...]. Item has nice design to it but doesn't hide speaker wire. I used black tie wire to tie the wires to the stand. It was a little difficult to adjust and tighten to the desired height, some people might have a little more problem if they never put together or familiar with one of these speakers stands before.

The joint that is used to adjust the height of the stand uses a plastic connector which does not give a great feeling about the connection. I first thought that the plastic was stripped. Once I got the stands (I bought two pair of them) assembled and set up in there place all seemed good. If you move the stands about alot or keep adjusting their height, then the connecting joint may be an issue. For me, I plan to not move them.
I used a needle-nose plyer to help grab the wire out of the small opening near the top of the stand. Otherwise, it would have been difficult to feed the wire out of the hole.
