Bell'O modern furniture is constructed of three different types of materials: metal and wood, and metal, and wood. The metal and wood and metal combos are covered with a high impact scratch resistant powder coat finish. Shelves are perforated metal or tempered glass for safety and can handle all of your requirements for home theater furniture and audio video furniture.

I was looking for a pair of sturdy acoustically neutral speaker stands, and this stand fit the bill quite well. It was pretty simple to assemble, although I must add that the fit and finish of the stand could be improved a bit. Overall, the stands are very pleasing to the eye and provide a strong, well isolated platform for my speakers. Simple and efficient, just as I prefer it.

Unlike a previous reviewer, I did not have any major assembly problems. The only inconvenience was that, when screwing in the screws for the base pieces, there is some give up and down, so that you will want to eyeball it as you attach them so that one side does not sit higher than the other. However, this was very minor.
The speakers are for my parents (I bought them some Klipsch B-2's) and they love the style. The included velcro adhesive is convenient and did not peel off any of the speaker's veneer when I tested the adhesive removal.

I purchased these stands for their aesthetic appeal and they are even better than I thought they'd be. They are constructed with quality materials (especially the base pieces) and easy to assemble, although you may need to apply some pressure in the right places for the holes to align properly. I am very happy with my purchase and can hardly wait for the matching TV stand to arrive.

Attractive stands. But they need to work on quality control. The first one went together fairly easily, until it was time to add the feet. These screw into threaded holes in the metal base, and the threading was bad. This is a problem because you need to get all four feet screwed in at the same depth. Very frustrating. I ended up needing a vice grip, to force things. The second was much worse and took over an hour to assemble; some of the holes simply didn't line up quite straight, so bolting it together became a real problem. Not recommended if you don't have metalworking tools or a great deal of time and patience.
I put VMPS 626R speakers on them; I wish the top platform that the speaker sits on was a few inches larger, but it does support the speaker and I haven't seen any bending or flexing in the stand. The choice of spikes vs feet is nice. Some minor blemishes in the finish. All in all, a nice looking stand, they just need to work on assembly.
